"A safe and respectful place to share your thoughts with no judgement". T. Croom, MS, GCDF
By being open minded and conscientiousness helps me to avoid being biased and judgmental of other lifestyles and choices that my friend's family and peers make. I'm also social outgoing and agreeable and also an introvert as well. I also try to see the glass as half full more than half empty.
ReplyDeleteI think something that makes my personality unique is the circumstances around me that shape my personality. I think that everyone can definitely have inherited personality traits but I think that many of mine are from the environment I grew up in. I am an older sister of a sister with autism. That experience shaped my childhood and made me to be a very caring person who was always trying to see the needs of others. While obviously most everyone tries to care for others, I am unique in that I learned how to care deeply earlier on in childhood than most by caring for my sister.
ReplyDeleteI believe that the conditions that shape my personality are one of the things that distinguishes my personality. I accept that everyone can acquire character traits, but I believe that a large portion of mine stems from the setting in which I spent my adolescence. I'm the more settled sister of a sister who suffers from substance inequity. That experience shaped my young life and taught me to be a very cautious person who was always looking out for the needs of others. In adolescence, I focused more on my sister than I did in general.
ReplyDeleteI believe that the most contributors to my personality are my surroundings, how I grew up, and the specific and important life events that shaped me. For example, my parent's divorce quickly changed how I viewed life and also how I acted. I think that being bullied in middle and high school contributed to my shy personality. It is hard for me to open up to others. I also think that my mother being an introvert rubbed off on me since her and I were extremely close. The way that I decided to deal with the heavy parts of my life allowed for me to be more open and empathetic towards others, but also direct.
ReplyDeleteGrowing up in a small country / southern family, I believe plays major role in my personality. I am the oldest of 3, my mom was a single mother pretty much all my life. I helped care for my two younger siblings. I would consider myself to have friends but my friends also knew my responsibility for my younger brother and sister. So I didn't hang-out as much, chill with friends, etc. I was very close with my grandparents and Sunday services was a must, no excuses! I would be the only one to attend college in my group of high school friends. Most often I am described as shy ( until I get to know you), dependable, caring, kind, and a leader. Which I think all plays back to how I was raised, and knowing I have wanted to be a nurse since a young child.
ReplyDeleteSome things that makes me dope would have to be my attitude, my personality, an my creativity. My creativity especially. I mean after all that's really what makes a person uniquely them. The fact that I never respond to no situation the same. I'm supportive and I reach for the galaxy in any situation. I thrive for the better of not only myself but the people around me. I support people even if i do not like them. If you are offering a service I need, im supporting. This is what makes me unique
ReplyDeleteI believe my personality is unique because I am a reserved person, who loves to make people happy and laugh. This conflict leads to a constant battle of whether to buck up and talk to others, or stay safe in my bubble. I am thankful that I have a tendency to try and help others, while being able to preserve my own needs. I think that the events that have shaped my life are unique to me, making my skill set unique and ever growing as I continue to learn. I believe that I see each day as it comes and remain relatively easy going each day. I can move from one task to another, whether I fail or not.
ReplyDeletePersonality starts when learn who we are an explore how we embody our name. I f we are named after a family member or it has a certain meaning we tend to apply it to our life as a map of our personality. Once we are clear of or names meaning it effects how we interact with other by socializing and where we should not see our self. Personality is also formed by how experience at school, church, home etc. We will eventually mature into our full personality from experience and belief of how the world should interact and how we interact. We subconsciously become the person that we always want to be because we dont have a choice but to become what we chose to learn so far.
ReplyDeleteSome things that make me unique would be how I'm an introvert, but I love being around people. Creativity, I love putting things together and organizing things just for the joy! As I'm growing I'm starting to see how everyday I'm changing and sometimes its for the better and sometimes it still a learning situation.
