What Do You Think is The Meaning of Life? What is our purpose?

Comments

  1. Everyone's meaning is different and depends on what they believe. I want to raise my children into good, loving, and caring humans so they can raise their children the same. My meaning of life is to leave an impact that can be felt years after you I am gone.

    1. Thats all we can do. Try to provide the best place for our children to grow up and have children, and then rinse and repeat.

  2. I don't think there is a specific meaning for life, if you ask any catholic they would tell you that their meaning is to prepare for heaven. If you ask Buddah his answer will be different and so on. I think for me is to make a change, small or big, but to leave a mark and be happy.

  3. I know that the meaning to this life is to live for Jesus Christ because he died for us. Live as children of God, love one another, treat people with kindness and lend a helping hand and all understand we are in this together. We shouldn't be against each other. We should be living on this world to get to our final destination and that's to heaven. This world in only temporary, we were created for better things beyond this life, and I cannot wait until Jesus returns back some day very soon and get to dwell with our creator, our father, and all my fellow brother and sisters in a place where there will be no more sin, no more pain, tears or suffering.

  4. I believe the meaning of life is for us to redeem ourselves. I believe until God returns we are constantly repeating new lives. Trying to be a better person in each one.

    1. I hope my next one is as challenging as this one. I hope in that life there is more unity and less companies influencing law to profit of the premeditated attacks on families, shattering beyond the point of repair. Forcing 90 plus percent of the population working until they are old a feeble.

  5. What is the meaning of life? This is a loaded question. Is it to procreate, live a life better than your parents, have riches, wealth, adoration from your peers. Everyone looks at life differently. For some people they want fame and wealth at all cost. That's what they strive for. Other's want to be important. They want to make a difference. They want to be missed when they leave this world. Me, I want happiness. The true meaning of life to me is happiness. Why be in this world, why go through the day to day stressors and uncertainty if you aren't going to be happy with it when it's all said and done. When I am old and grey and think back to everything that I've done, endured, overcome, I want to be able to say that I had a fulfilled life. I want to look at the generations surrounding me, I want to think to my family home, the love of my life, I want to look back and think to myself that yes, I was genuinely happy. I made the most of what was given to me, I took advantage of my circumstances and maximized them. I want to be able to say that I did everything I set my mind to. To me, that is the meaning of life. Living a fulfilled live doing what you wanted to do, having everything you set out to have, making memories and doing the things that make YOU happy.

    1. I agree. It we really sit and think, everything about creation is amazing. If we were to live as intended. Eating fruit for meat, and not enslaving the world for profit then we would be A OK

  7. I think the meaning of life is to experience the joy family, trials and tribulations. And we do that by being fruitful and multiplying and tilling the land to make food for all creatures. Harness the energy that's in the air and provide a habitat the like in which no one has seen before. Work as units with our individual talents and skills being used for the betterment for all creatures and the beautification of the habitat in which we are in and not for profiting of basic needs.

  8. The meaning of life is different for everyone. Everyone has a different life experience, so this question is difficult to answer. Some people view life as something that shouldn't be taken advantage of and is based on making memories and some people may view life as religious way of living in order to reach greater achievements.

  9. The meaning of life I think varies, but for me at least, it is to leave the world a happier, healthier, more understanding place then when I came into it. If I could make someone- even just a single person- feel loved, appreciated, understood and heard to the fullest extent, I am happy. I want to make someone know that they are important, and that their thoughts, actions and words matter more than they could ever imagine. I want to make a lasting difference.

  10. There are so many answers to this, that it's hard to even really know what the definite meaning to life even is. We, the people, are all the same. For some it's women, for some it's religion, for some it's our career, fun, family, power, happiness, dreams. All of us have to spend our lives drunk on something. The meaning of life will always be subjective because it's that meaning to that specific person that keeps them going and moving in this world. We're all slaves to something. I've done a lot of thinking about this sort of question, and I think I finally have an answer I think everybody would agree on... nothing. Maybe, there is no meaning to life. However, if you stick around long eough, you just might find something of value.

  11. Wow what a question. So to me the meaning of life is to love and experience things. Nothing about life is easy, nothing makes sense, and nothing is perfect. To me as long as you take the chance and do what makes you genuinely happy that's all that matters. We get so caught up in what others think we miss out on opportunities. You have to appreciate the people in your life before it's too late and you have to realize life is only what you make it. Feeling loved and giving love is what makes life worth living.

  12. I think the meaning of life is happiness, at least for me anyways. Our purpose is just to live a fulfilling life, but is it fulfilling if you are happy? If you go through life miserable, but making grand strives in career, family, society would you feel fulfilled? Loving and enjoying your life is the purpose. You can share that love and happiness with others in turn.

  13. Life is not about us. It never is. It is all about God. We are created for His purpose, for His pleasure, and for His glory. There is no life outside of God's love. There is no life without God. As someone who grew up in a Christian community, I was taught that life is a test, a trust and a temporary assignment. It is a test because every moment we live is test that we have to pass. Whether we are ware of it or not, our character is tested. It is a trust because He entrusted us talents, skills, abilities, etc. that He wants us to use for His glory and honor. And it is a temporary assignment because we will have to give an account of how we have lived our life here on earth.

  14. I believe the meaning of life is kindness, honesty, bravery, compassion, values, integrity, and most importantly, love. We are placed on this earth to love and care for one another. I believe that everyone should do what works best for THEM and only THEM. You should live your life, travel, have memorable experiences, find love, donate to charity, and express gratitude daily! Everyone should not take the little things for granted like making it home safe, having shelter and food on the table, or taking your children to the park. Life is all about loving yourself and the people in it!

  15. Not a simple question to answer, but for me, the meaning of life is that I am serving God with everything I do. It is also knowing that my life matters. Everyone I know and love is doing well in every aspect of their life, and I can make a difference in this world, even if it is a small one.

  16. In my view, the meaning of life is to love, learn, and pursue purpose. We are here to make emotional connections with other beings, expand our minds through experiences, and follow our passions. It is about the journey, not the destination, and enjoying each moment as it comes. We should strive to be kind to others, gain knowledge about ourselves and the world around us, and contribute value through our talents, skills, and interests. Though life may seem chaotic and difficult at times, focusing on love, learning, and living our purpose can help provide meaning. Ultimately, the meaning of life is what you make of it and how you choose to spend your limited time in this world.

  17. I think everyone has a different meaning in life. I also think it depends on what you believe in. I personally believe in God and I believe that He has a purpose for everyone. I am at a weird point in my life because I am trying to figure out what my purpose is. However, I trust God and know that everything happens for a reason.

  18. I think the meaning and the purpose of our life is to serve and love God and people in any way that we can. When we start with serving and loving God and people with all of our hearts, souls, and minds, everything else in life becomes only extra to us. When we making serving and loving God our priority, we consume ourselves with finding new ways to serve and love other people. And when we consume ourselves with serving and loving other people I believe that we find that time flies and not only that time flies but that we will feel purposeful on this side of earth while we wait to transition into the afterlife.

  19. The meaning of life to me is to be happy, enjoy and appreciate every day that you are granted to experience it. We are here on earth on borrowed time so I believe it is important to cherish your time while you're here. Cherish your loved ones, spend as much time as you can with the people that you love. Do the things you want to do every chance you get. Choose happiness and peace on a daily basis. Everyone's purpose looks different, but whatever your purpose is you should walk in it fully. Spread love, light, joy and kindness regularly.

  20. I think the meaning of life is to find out our purpose and live it with no apologies. Our purpose is to do what is just and meaningful as it pertains to our standards.

  21. The meaning of life is something personal and unique to each individual. For me, the purpose of life is to grow, to connect with others and to leave the world a little better than i came into it. Life is a journey filled with challenges and lessons that help shape who we are. Being there for someone, helping them, crating something beautiful gives our lives purpose.

  22. In a sense, there is no meaning to life. We as humans can't help to wonder why we're conscious. However, we must form our own opinion as to the meaning of life, and find meaning in things. Once we die, the most probable is that we'll return to the same state as before we were born. That's why one should cherish life, because we only get one chance.
